I joined Tulchan in 2000, shortly after the business was founded. Before that, my career spanned the worlds of financial and political communications. An interest in politics led me to join election campaign teams in the UK and US and I became a Special Advisor in John Major’s government. After 1997 I returned to financial communications, working on some of the most exciting financial projects around, including the bond offering for Formula One and the IPO of Goldman Sachs.

In the late 90’s I moved to New York, where I experienced the Big Apple at the height of the Dot Com boom and worked with British businesses on communicating effectively in the US. I now use all this experience to advise on a range of situations – from M&A to competition issues and crisis work.

I think there’s two things an organisation can give their consultants to help them thrive – Information + Time to use it properly. One aspect I enjoy about Tulchan is that it allows me to develop deep and productive relationships with my clients.
