I joined Tulchan in 2011 having spent the past eight years working
in financial communications for some of the leading firms in the
industry. During my time in the industry, I have advised listed
(both UK and Pan-European) and private companies through a variety
of high profile and complex corporate transactions including DS
Smith’s €1.6bn offer for SCA Packaging, Telefonica’s £18bn
takeover of O2, Informa’s £502m acquisition of Datamonitor
and Marston’s £176m rights issue. I have also developed
and executed communication strategies to improve my clients engagement
with both the capital markets and financial media.
There were a number of contributory factors for taking the opportunity
to join Tulchan. Having previously worked at a large international
firm, I wanted to be part of a collaborative, collegiate and entrepreneurial
environment. As well as a proven track record of dealing with the
media, technical knowledge and practical experience of the capital
markets is critical for the type of advice financial communications
firms should be giving clients. The depth and breadth of that expertise
at Tulchan is unique in the market place, and I am sure a key reason
behind the continuing success of the firm.
