With an MA in History from the University of Edinburgh in 2006 I briefly entertained the notion of a career in the media, and then considered more seriously the industry of Corporate Finance, but as I looked into it I began to realise I was far more interested in the “Corporate” aspects as opposed to the “Finance”.

The field of Financial PR seemed to me to be the perfect balance and this idea was confirmed once I’d had two internships at rival firms during my university holidays. Since I‘ve been at Tulchan I’ve become increasingly interested in how reputation can directly correlate to share price, and the importance of an efficiently managed corporate image. I think I’ve landed on my feet for my first job; Tulchan is a little guy that’s a big hitter and I feel very much at the centre of things. I get to ask questions…
