Following graduation from Bristol Business School after a four year course I spent a further four years at an investment bank, Robert W. Baird. I then joined Tulchan in January 2004 and making the move was not a difficult decision. I felt it would allow me to build on the experience I had gained at Baird where I had specialised in providing strategic advice to growing companies in the middle market - and I wasn’t wrong.

I started as a member of the analyst team, providing market information for our clients and consultants, a thorough grounding in our business. Then in 2005 I was promoted to the role of consultant in which I work on a range of communications issues for my clients.

I get a lot of headroom here; because of the collaborative way the teams are structured we are mutually supportive, which gives us all a lot of confidence. I think it would be very difficult for a bad consultant to survive here.
