It feels like only yesterday that I came in for an interview with Andrew Grant just after he had set up Tulchan in May 2000. My official role was to be his assistant - but I soon started to get involved in other areas of running the business, including setting up the office, designing logos, recruiting staff and even looking after the books.

Five years on, I’m now part of a well-structured management team. My focus is on marketing, human resources, office infrastructure and company morale but I also get involved in strategic decisions. How do I add value? By ensuring the client teams have the necessary tools to provide excellent service to our clients and by creating an environment in which they feel motivated to work and to which they feel committed.
