My first role at Tulchan after I joined in June 2003 was as the analyst responsible for the support services, technology and transport sectors, then being promoted in April 2005 to Consultant. Before Tulchan I worked as a sell-side research analyst at Investec Bank focusing on support services. Moving into financial PR did not seem like an obvious step - but from my first meeting with the team I decided it was the ideal environment in which to broaden my City knowledge.

Tulchan allows a wide range of views and experiences to be brought to bear on any case study which I think enriches the advice we give. For example, my time as a sell-side analyst allows me to offer clients insight into the way analysts think and how they interact with the media – when I work with other Tulchan consultants with a more journalistic background I like to think our complementary skills lead to more effective and interesting ideas.
