Tom Murray – Associate

Having left Oxford University with a seemingly useless degree in philosophy and theology, I was delighted to find myself at Tulchan in October 2004, doing a job I have found both challenging and enjoyable. After an initial internship I became an Analyst, monitoring the retail, stock exchange and utilities sectors. The Analyst role, with its exposure to market and media developments from day one, as well as a comprehensive and ongoing training programme, is the perfect way to gain an understanding of the City, the way in which businesses are run and the importance of good corporate communications.

In 2007 I became an Associate - a role which has helped me to gain more experience of dealing with the media and advising clients.
