It is, if you like, a sort of careful introduction to a consultant’s job; we get first hand exposure and insight into our clients, their issues and problems, and genuine experience in the strategy and execution of the solutions.

For the client that means extra resource, as we undertake quite a bit of project management, process work and team co-ordination. And it means that Tulchan is home growing thoroughly trained and grounded consultants.

Typically we work with six or seven clients and to several different consultants giving us a wide variety of training and a broad range of experiences to learn from. And we make genuine contributions to client solutions – I’m definitely listened to.

And with deep involvement but without ultimate responsibility for our clients’ projects, this “middle path” in our development gives us confidence in what we’ve learnt and the time and space to learn much more.”
