Andrew Grant
Senior Partner, London

Since founding Tulchan in 2000, Andrew has helped to build it into one of the most respected advisory firms in London. During that time he has advised numerous blue-chip clients, including Legal & General, Marks & Spencer, Prudential, ScottishPower, Standard Life and Whitbread. He has also advised on a range of significant corporate transactions such as Comcast’s bid for Sky, the sale of Costa to Coca Cola, the Royal Mail privatisation, Merlin and Goldman Sachs IPOs, the sale of Rexam to Ball and the Unilever and Severn Trent bid defences.
He has been a Visiting Fellow at the Oxford University Centre for Corporate Reputation, is Chairman of the Development Committee at the National Portrait Gallery and a Committee Member for the Sheriffs’ and Recorder’s Fund.
Andrew Feldman
Managing Partner, London

Andrew Feldman served as Chairman of the Conservative Party from 2010 to 2016. Andrew attended Political Cabinet, ran the professional operation at Conservative Campaign Headquarters (CCHQ) and had overall responsibility for the Party’s strategy, finances, and professional operation leading up to the 2015 General Election.
Before being appointed Party Chairman, Andrew was Chief Executive of the Conservative Party and part of the senior team running the 2010 General Election campaign. Prior to that Andrew was Chief Executive of his family textile business, in practice as a commercial Barrister at 1 Essex Court and an associate consultant at Bain & Co.
Andrew graduated with a first in jurisprudence from Brasenose College Oxford and attended the Inns of Court School of Law. Andrew was elevated to the House of Lords in 2010 and appointed to the Privy Council in 2015.
Angela Campbell-Noë
Senior Partner, Tulchan Asia, Singapore

As a permanent resident of Singapore, Angela is responsible for spearheading Tulchan’s development in Asia. She joined the firm in 2010 and has a wealth of international advisory and capital markets expertise from her investment banking background at Goldman Sachs, Baring Brothers and Deutsche Bank, as well as experience managing public company stakeholders having been CEO of a London-listed business.
Angela’s broad reputation management experience spans diverse sectors across the region and situations, including transactions, crisis and issues management and multiple stakeholder engagement. Angela has advised many leading businesses in Asia, including Diageo, Axiata and Fitness First. Angela has an MA in Jurisprudence from Oxford University.
Basil Nicolaou
Finance Partner, London

Basil oversees Tulchan’s finance, compliance and IT functions and has been with the firm almost since its inception. Prior to joining Tulchan, he spent six years in the finance team at Ludgate Communications.
Basil took sole charge of Tulchan’s finance department from the day he joined and ran it himself for many years. The finance department has grown in line with the firm and Basil now leads a team of four.
Ben Williams
Finance Director, London

Ben co-ordinates and executes Tulchan’s finance, compliance and IT functions. Prior to joining Tulchan in 2013, he spent nine years in public practice, most notably three years at a top 20 firm in London advising clients of up to £100m turnover. Ben is a fellow the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Catherine James
Senior Advisor, London

Catherine is the former Head of Investor Relations at Diageo Plc, having been responsible for the company’s global IR function since its formation in 1997. Prior to this, Catherine was Finance Director of Grand Metropolitan Estates for seven years.
She is widely considered as one of global IR’s leading practitioners and is the winner of many industry awards. Catherine advises our clients on the development and implementation of their investor relations programmes and engagement with shareholders. Catherine is also an Independent Non-Executive Director of Numis Plc.
Chong Yap Tok
Director, Singapore

Chong Yap specialises in providing strategic investor relations solutions for publicly listed companies across Asia. Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, Chong Yap advises on financial transactions (M&A, corporate restructuring, etc), investor relations, crisis & critical issues, corporate communications & reputation. With a degree in Economics and Law, he started his career on the sell-side in Hong Kong after spending eight years in the UK.
David Allchurch
Partner, London

David is a trusted FTSE 100 and 250 communications advisor with significant transaction, crisis and reputation management experience. His clients have included Whitbread, Bunzl, Travis Perkins, Johnson Matthey and Balfour Beatty. David’s transaction experience includes the AA IPO, Ladbrokes’ merger with Coral and BBA Aviation’s 2017 $2.1bn acquisition of Landmark.
Before joining Tulchan in 2007, David worked as a No.1 ranked Support Services research analyst for 19 years – the last nine of which were at Morgan Stanley.
Elizabeth Snow
Director, London

Elizabeth joined Tulchan in 2017 and has over seven years’ experience providing strategic financial and corporate communications advice to listed, private and international clients, ranging from FTSE 100, mid-market through to AIM small caps. She has worked across a variety of sectors including real estate, retail, TMT, leisure and sports for clients such as Richemont, Unite Group, Galliford Try and Paperchase. She has advised on a number of crises and high profile corporate transactions, including Liberty Media’s acquisition of Formula One Group, as well as campaigns targeting private investors having worked with almost half of London’s Retail Bond issuers.
Giles Kernick
Director, Singapore

Giles joined Tulchan in London in 2011 and moved to Singapore in 2016 to help develop its Asia offering. He works across a broad range of industries with both multinational companies and local businesses across Southeast Asia. In the last seven years, he has worked with private and listed clients on a number of transactions, including IPOs and M&A, and crisis situations across Europe and Asia.
Graeme Wilson CBE
Partner, Policy Advisory, London

Graeme joined Tulchan in 2016 after three years working in 10 Downing Street as the Prime Minister’s Press Secretary, where he advised the PM how to handle a wide-range of policy and media issues in an intense 24/7 working environment. Before that, Graeme spent nearly two decades as a senior political journalist for newspapers including the Daily Mail, The Sun, Daily Telegraph and Sunday Telegraph.
At Tulchan, Graeme advises clients on policy advisory and media issues, both on an ongoing basis and around high impact situations such as major transactions. Client experience includes Unilever, ENGIE and Sophos.
Hamide Ahmet
HR Director, London

Hamide has 15 years’ HR experience spanning many industries, including hospitality, real estate and manufacturing. Hamide is responsible for implementing the human resource management strategies that enable Tulchan to recruit, train, and retain a high performing and motivated workforce.
Hamide holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management and is a Chartered member (MCIPD) of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
Hamish Mackenzie
Non-Executive Director, London

Hamish Mackenzie currently spends his time investing and managing a variety of businesses working closely with management and shareholders to achieve strategic goals. Hamish qualified as a lawyer in Scotland where he became a partner in what is now Addleshaw Goddard.
After leaving law in 1989 Hamish spent the next 22 years as a partner investing and managing private equity investments. Hamish has managed investments into more than 30 companies across a range of industries. Hamish joined the board of Tulchan in 2012.
Harry Cameron
Director, London

Harry joined Tulchan in 2018 having spent 10 years in a variety of communications roles, including most recently in a senior in-house position at the aerospace and defence giant Airbus. He also has extensive consultancy experience, having advised both listed and non-listed companies across the natural resources, industrials and financial services sectors.
During his career Harry has developed particular expertise in advising international companies on how to effectively communicate high profile and sensitive corporate issues, including crisis communications. He has also worked on a number of significant transactions, including the $88bn merger between Xstrata and Glencore and Airbus’ acquisition of the Bombardier CSeries programme.
James Cameron
Senior Advisor, London

James Cameron is an international lawyer, policy adviser and entrepreneur. He has spent 30 years working on climate change and sustainability from negotiating the UN agreements to founding enterprises like Climate Change Capital, and serving on Boards such as Solar Century, CDP and Ignite Power. He is Chairman of ODI UKs leading development think tank, and start ups Green Running/Verv, GSCM and Engaged Tracking.
James Macey White
Partner, London

James joined Tulchan in 2011 and has spent the majority of his time at the firm establishing Tulchan’s mid-market and growth companies practice. Over the past 15 years, James has advised listed and private companies on many communications challenges, targeting a range of different audiences.
The majority of James’ client work is in the TMT sector where he has built a strong portfolio of retained clients. He advised a number of these TMT companies through IPO before becoming successful listed companies. James has also advised on various complicated and high profile M&A transactions.
Jessica Reid

Since joining Tulchan in 2016, Jessica has worked predominantly across the consumer, retail and leisure sectors. She has supported across a wide range of high profile corporate mandates including M&A, IPOs and crisis situations. Jessica’s current clients include Ei Group, Ocado and Whitbread.
Jonathan Baines
Senior Advisor, London

Jonathan has been working closely with Tulchan as a Senior Adviser since 2015. He has almost 40 years of business experience spanning six years in banking followed by a highly successful career in search. During that time he built his own company to become one of the pre-eminent search consultancies in the financial services sector with a network of global offices and almost 100 staff.
He subsequently became Chairman of Whitehead Mann plc and, following the latter’s acquisition by Korn Ferry, became Chairman of Korn Ferry in EMEA, working closely with the CEOs and Chairman of many UK companies and institutions, until he stepped down in 2015. Jonathan also advises Citigroup in the UK and maintains his close relationships across the boardrooms of UK plc. Jonathan has a BSc in Economics from University College, London.
Jonathan Sibun
Partner, London

Jonathan joined Tulchan in 2013 after almost 15 years working as a journalist for national and trade media, latterly as Deputy City Editor for The Daily Telegraph.
He specialises in advising clients on how to enhance and protect their corporate reputation, leveraging his close relationships with senior journalists across Fleet Street. Since joining Tulchan, Jonathan has advised on a number of high profile situations, including Unilever’s takeover defence against Kraft Heinz, The Co-op Group’s banking and corporate governance crisis and TDR Capital’s acquisitions of both BCA Marketplace and Ei Group.
Lisa Jarrett-Kerr
Director, London

Lisa joined Tulchan in 2016 from Westminster where she worked as a HM Treasury Special Adviser to Chancellor George Osborne, focused on broadcast communications and wider stakeholder engagement; coordinating government policy with business.
She has broad experience advising clients on their corporate and financial communications as well as developing targeted campaigns to create stakeholder value, principally with the media, investors, government and employees. She advised on Vivo Energy’s £2bn IPO, Unilever’s defence against Kraft Heinz, ENGIE’s launch into the retail energy market, and various other high profile corporate situations including financial and organisational restructurings, board and management changes, and crises. Her clients span a range of sectors including industrials, support services, energy and utilities, pharma, and investment trusts.
Martin Pengelley
Director, London

Martin joined Tulchan in 2014 following a 30-year career as a corporate broker with Deutsche Bank. Martin continues to advise Chairmen, CEOs and CFOs on the reputation of their companies in the capital markets and media, with client experience at Tulchan including Alliance Trust, EnQuest, Galliford Try, Metro Bank, United Utilities and Whitbread.
As well as advising on all aspects of clients’ financial communications, Martin is expert in corporate transactions and respected for his broader strategic advice. Martin is a trustee of the Deutsche Bank UK pension scheme and Deputy Chairman of a charity, Paddock Wood Community Advice Centre. Until May 2019 he was also an NED and Audit Committee chair at an AIM listed company, IndigoVision. He qualified as a chartered accountant with EY.
Martin Robinson
Partner, London

Martin joined Tulchan in 2008 and advises clients from a broad range of industries on their financial and corporate communications. He works with businesses to ensure their identity is well defined and articulated, and is an expert in corporate transactions and crisis communications.
He has significant international experience working with clients in North America, across Continental Europe and in the Middle East, including ENGIE, Petrofac, Rexam, the Takeover Panel and Unilever. He speaks fluent French and has worked in both France and Canada.
Matt Low
Director, London

Matt specialises in working with both private and listed companies in the Technology, Media and Telecoms sector. He joined Tulchan’s mid-market and growth companies practice in 2013. During this time Matt has advised clients on the their corporate and financial communications, as well as through IPO, M&A and crisis situations.
Michelle Clarke
Director, London

Michelle joined Tulchan in 2010 after a number of years at Cazenove and JP Morgan in equity research. Michelle has worked closely with clients in a wide variety of sectors, with a focus on financial services and retail, including Standard Life, Lloyds Banking Group, Legal & General, Ocado and AO World. Project work has included advising Standard Life in its merger with Aberdeen Asset Management and the Investor Forum through a number of high profile campaigns.
Nick Laitner
Director, Policy Advisory, London

Nick joined Tulchan in 2017 from MHP Communications, where he led their award-winning public affairs team.
He specialises in advising business leaders on their political and media communications, developing and implementing commercially successful political campaigns, and providing counsel on legislative and public procurement issues. Nick has worked on front-page and politically contentious issues for organisations as diverse as EDF, the Football Association, Huawei, and HM Government.
Robert Sutton
Chairman, London

Robert Sutton was a solicitor with the City Law firm, Macfarlanes, from 1979 to 2013, serving as senior partner from 1999 to 2008. Educated at Winchester College and Magdalen College, Oxford, he advised Andrew Grant on setting up Tulchan and joined the firm as Chairman in 2009. Robert is a non executive director of Numis Corporation PLC and serves as Deputy Chairman of Winchester College.
Ruth Royston

Ruth focuses her attention on People and Performance, both internally and externally.
The internal element is nurturing the culture of the firm and the external perspective is liaising regularly with clients to ensure Tulchan is delivering real value. Ruth has been with the firm since it was founded in 2000.
Sheebani Chothani

Sheebani joined Tulchan in June 2017, having previously spent almost six years at Goldman Sachs within Equity Capital Markets and M&A. Simon Pilkington
Partner, London

Simon Pilkington joined Tulchan after 18 years with J.P. Morgan Cazenove, where he was Managing Director in the investment bank providing corporate broking and financial advisory to UK corporates. He worked on a range of capital market transactions including IPOs, equity issues and M&A. Over a 30 year career, Simon’s experience also encompasses research analyst of the banking sector at Cazenove and equity fund manager at Mercury Asset Management and Threadneedle Investment Managers.
Sue Clark
Non-Executive Director, London

Sue Clark is widely recognised as one of the most experienced and respected corporate affairs and investor relations practitioners in the industry, with over 20 years’ experience as a member of the Executive Committee of several FTSE 100 companies. After 15 years as Corporate Affairs Director at ScottishPower plc, Railtrack and SABMiller, Sue was appointed Managing Director Europe of SAB’s European beer business, returning the region to growth while building a number of well-loved consumer brands such as Peroni Nastro Azzurro.
Sue was also part of the executive team that built the business into a top five FTSE company. Sue is a passionate advocate of the benefits that business brings to wider society and has worked extensively in Africa and Asia. She is a Non-Executive Director at Britvic and a member of the Board of Edinburgh Business School.
Sunni Chauhan
Partner, London

Sunni brings over 20 years of experience in strategy, finance and M&A through a career in investment banking and corporate development as well as complementary board experience. After starting her career at Schroders in New York and London, she joined Morgan Stanley where she became a Managing Director advising clients on a range of M&A and financing transactions including complex defence and M&A situations with M&S, Cadbury, Canary Wharf, Pernod Ricard and BA/Iberia. She gained valuable in-house corporate experience at BAE Systems and then joined Rexam plc as Head of Corporate Development ultimately leading the sale of the company.
Sunni currently serves as a non-executive director of Britvic plc and is on the global advisory board of tech intelligence platform, GrowthEnabler, and previously served as a trustee of Breakthrough Breast Cancer. Sunni graduated from Dartmouth College in the US with a degree in Economics and attended the General Management Program at Harvard Business School.
Tom Murray

Tom has over 15 years experience advising clients in the UK, Europe, the US and Asia across a wide variety of sectors, including financial services, food and beverages, retail, technology, leisure and utilities.
He has worked on a number of high profile transactions, including Comcast’s £30bn acquisition of Sky, the sale of NewDay to CVC and Cinven, the sale of Calvin Capital to KKR and Equinix’s £2.4bn acquisition of TelecityGroup. Tom joined Tulchan in 2004 and spent almost four years in Singapore helping Tulchan establish its Asian presence. He has a degree in Philosophy and Theology from the University of Oxford.
